Cozy Comforts, Thoughtfully Designed
Our cottages are more than accommodations – they are intimate sanctuaries designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Each cottage features:
Log fireplaces to keep you warm on chilly evenings, with firewood provided (charged per bundle).
Fully equipped kitchens and kitchenettes, including ovens, stoves, microwaves, and more, ensuring you have everything you need for a hassle-free stay.
Daily morning servicing, with cleaning fees included in the rates, so you can focus on unwinding.
Tucked among trees and shrubs for privacy, the cottages offer a perfect blend of seclusion and proximity. While some, like Phinda and Thokozela, are conveniently adjacent, others are fully standalone, allowing you to choose the setting that suits your needs. Don’t be surprised if a graceful antelope or curious rabbit visits during your stay – wildlife roams freely in this serene environment.
Unforgettable Evenings Under African Skies
As night falls, gather around an open fire at our “mini Stone Henge,” under a starlit Milky Way. Listen to the enchanting sounds of the African night: the bark of jackals, the hoots of owls, the calls of nightjars, and the sharp whistles of mountain reedbuck. It’s an experience that connects you to the rhythm of nature.
Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of a Drakensberg thunderstorm, nicknamed the “Dragon’s Wrath.” Feel the sky come alive with fiery flashes, as thunder rolls across the mountains like a symphony of drums – a sight and sound that will stay with you forever.
