1650 acre estate, offering you panoramic mountain views of the Northern and Central Drakensberg,including
the Maluti mountains and "Central Drakensberg" peaks. This Mountain Retreat
offers accommodation in "rustic chic" appointed cottages. Views
of the Amphitheatre Mountain and adjoining mountains are enjoyed by all the cottages. Located at the "Gateway" to the Northern Drakensberg, aprox 3 hours from
either Johannesburg or Durban.
Cathedral Peak is visible from the elevated view point in front of the cottages called "Mini Stone Henge". Champagne Castle is the highest peak in the Drakensberg within South Africa,standing
tall next to the Monks Cowl as well as the Cathkin Peak, all these mountain peaks can be viewed from this destination. Maluti Mountains
adjoin the Northern Drakensberg range, as well as the "Little Drakensberg", SungubalaMountain stands proud on this range and
shadows Montusi Mountain peak to the North. Cavern Berg valley and the cliffs around "Cannibal Cave" can be viewed using field
glasses to the Northwest. Drakensberg Mountains stand 3000m above sea level,offering wrap around views, we invite you to visit us

The Berghouse and Cottages offers an extensive range of activities including hiking with various degrees of difficulty to choose from on site
as well as in the neighbouring "World Heritage Site" in the Royal Natal National Park, approximately 16km away. We offer guided
horse riding trails on "Basuto" ponies through splendid scenery, fly fishing both in dams and on the 7km river on the western boundary of our property, mountain biking and 4x4 trails are some of
the activities we invite you to indulge in.
